HostMouth Press Release

Today we have our first press mention over at , this site allows anyone registered to create and submit a free press release to publicize company news, showcase new products, highlight an upcoming event, or anything else you need to let the web world know about. It also gets indexed by google, which is the icing on the cake. Just take a look at my sidebar under webhost news, and there is my press item. Sweet isn't it? Leave me a comment and let me know have you used this site before?

Host Mouth receives 1st Mention

I am happy to announce that The Blog Hog has made a nice mention of my new blog and i have to say it feels good to be talked about, thanxs Sandy for the post and the link love, may it be returned to you ten fold. If you would like to see your site or blog mentioned, just ask Sandy, she loves to talk about other bloggers and their blogs. From my reading and research it is good to get link love because incoming links to a site or blog help alot with getting ranked well with search engines and for rank popularity.

If you run a hosting related blog, feel free to leave a comment, and i will be sure to mention you here at Host Mouth, i am officially declaring Fridays as "Link Love Friday".

DreamHost moves boldly towards being Environmentally Friendly

Dreamhost has announced it is going green and has so proclaimed this on their blog and they have managed to cough up some controversy over the move, with some skeptics saying this is not really going to make an ecological difference and that they have been "scammed into it" (ridiculous sentiment if you ask me), many complain about a possible increase in their plan rates, while others applaud and note the effort as a positive one. (like me)

How do you feel about this host (or any other host) going green?
